Tanzania

Tanzania boasts a huge variety of landscapes and habitats, with everything from mountains, to lakes, to plains and doum palm lined rivers. In the last five years they have lost 65% of their elephants to poaching, and the community wildlife conflict continues to cause the lion population to decline, our projects are fighting back alongside the larger influential charities and government - it is Tanzania's sheer size which makes the anti poaching battle a very difficult one. In each country we have selected a few small charities doing amazing work on the ground, if you feel we have left any out, or have reservations about any we have chosen please contact us.
